School dropouts in Spain: A systematic review

Dropout is a phenomenon that unfortunately occurring worldwide and of increasing concern to authorities. It reality quality indicators in many models are affected by the number students who drop out school at higher levels. However, this not only reflected educational level, but also affects social personal development young people. The analysis dropout among Spaniards topic interest due repercussions it generates social, personal, institutional spheres. objectives study were analyse how studies have been published on subject since 2010, locating selected articles areas knowledge studying institutions where research has carried out. On other hand, observed focused search for reasons lead high rates main factors. Finally, an attempt made them aimed solving problem preventing early leaving primary education order avoid drop-out levels, examining proposals established reduce problem. In achieve proposed objectives, systematic review was with aim carrying rigorous existing relevant scientific literature subject. After applying various exclusion inclusion criteria, eliminating duplicate records analysing works depth, 28 selected. results suggest that, currently, despite problems caused leaving, widely studied causes reasons. same context, selected, 12 present different prevention leaving. light above, necessary look more deeply into nature Spanish institutions.
